Curriculum Guides

Early Scholars curriculum guides are aligned to Common Core Standards. Our curriculum guides in reading and math are a combination of in-house materials, games and take-home booklets to support students’ weekly learning objectives. The goal of our guides is to appeal to different types of learners and to help young people to make connections between various concepts.

The goal of our science-reading curriculum guides is to increase students’ passage comprehension, reading fluency, word identification and vocabulary. Nonfiction readings, with rich content, are geared toward the sciences. Our math curriculum guides help numbers come alive. Students understand how to apply math in their everyday lives to solve problems in and out of the tutoring sessions. To gauge student success, and to build on previously gained skills, our guides for each grade are organized into levels. As students solve problems in a stepwise sequence, they are able to think critically about the content to revise the sequence if necessary.
